Frank and Kara danced their first dance to Thomas Rhett’s “Die a Happy Man”. Near the beginning, the lyrics say, “Baby, last night was hands down one of the best nights,” and I know that must have reflected how they felt the day after their wedding. Every part of their wedding day at the Silk Mill was wonderful. The guests were ready to celebrate, the weather cooperated, and the decor was so gorgeous. Speaking of decor, we photograph a lot of Old Silk Mill weddings, but we LOVED how they used uplighting in the space! The Silk Mill is a big space with lots of amazing old brick, and their uplighting really showed it off!
I’m always so impressed with how different each Silk Mill wedding we photograph is. I never know if it’s going to be rustic, or industrial, or romantic, or quirky. The Silk Mill lends itself to so many different looks, so even though we photograph there a lot, it’s never boring!
This was our first Silk Mill wedding with a gold and pink color scheme, and I’ve got to say it was one of our favorites. What can I say, kara and Frank have great taste! Congratulations to you both!
