Well, it’s official. Meg and Jamey are married, and Meg is officially the MOST organized bride we’ve ever seen! It would take this entire post to detail all the skill that went into the planning, just suffice it to say that things ran VERY smoothly. Plus, the day was chock full of great details that showcased their love of coffee, doggies, and those closest to them. From their custom ceremony programs that included newspaper games to entertain their guests, to the special way Meg honored the women in her life with a corsage ceremony, everyone who attended was taken care of.
The entire wedding was at the Old Silk Mill in downtown Fredericksburg, Virginia. The Silk Mill has always been one of our favorite historic venues, but this wedding was extra special because it was our 1st time shooting in their new chapel area! As an added bonus, the weather was abnormally warm so we were able to be outside without fear of winter weather (besides their snowy exit of course!) This was especially nice since they got married in the morning, and celebrated with a brunch reception! We wholeheartedly approved of this choice, since brunch is obviously the most important meal of the day.
We adore Meg and Jamey, they’re smart, they’re fun, and they’re best friends. That means that they balance each other beautifully, but they’re also constantly laughing together. Thanks for including us in your day, it was a blast from beginning to end!
