It was one of those cool, late summer mornings where you just know that autumn is right around the corner. Autumn is always busy for us. It always means lots of photography work, along with all the fun fall activities we can squeeze in. When we decided that late summer was an ideal time for Abby and John’s engagement session, the stars aligned with a location. The night before their session we photographed a wedding not far from Barboursville Vineyard, and coincidentally Abby and John were be in the Charlottesville area that same weekend. So we all met just before the sun rose over the grapes, and I’ve got to say it was a perfect morning in Virginia wine country.
Abby and John have a huge list of positive traits and accomplishments between them, but the one that stands out to me is their kindness. Eric and I are always a bit tired the day after a wedding, but this particular morning I was feeling ill. They were so patient, and I can’t thank them enough for that! We’re so looking forward to photographing their wedding in Richmond, Virginia, I know it’s going to be a really special day.
