I don’t say it very often, but I truly love my job. Photographing weddings has been really beneficial for my own marriage, and it’s a constant reminder that there’s good in the world. We had the BEST time capturing Erika and Keith’s wedding day. I know that sounds a little crazy, since the majority of what we do is mentally calculating light, ratios, depth, and composition, all while on our feet for nine hours. But, you just can’t help but be happy on a gorgeous fall day, at an amazing venue, with a great DJ, all to celebrate one incredible couple.
Obviously every couple is happy on their wedding day, however, I think the true key to an amazing day is how you handle the stress and pressure. You can’t obsess over the little things that go wrong, or that’s all you’ll remember. Erika and Keith’s joy and excitement was infectious from beginning to end, because they were focused on enjoying the day, and marrying their best friend!
